【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesastructuredproceduretoestablishthehazardratingofglazingandglazingsystemssubjectedtoanairblastloading.Knowingthehazardratingprovidestheabilitytoassesstheriskofpersonalinjuryandfacilitydamage.Thehazardratingforaglazingorglazingmaterialdoesnotimplythatasinglespecimenwillresistthespecificairblastforwhichitisratedwithaprobabilityof1.0.Theprobabilitythatasingleglazingorglazingconstructionspecimenwillresistthespecificairblastforwhichitisratedincreasesproportionallywiththenumberoftestspecimensthatsuccessfullyresistthegivenlevelofairblasttothehazardlevelforwhichitisrated.1.1Thistestmethodsetsforthproceduresfortheevaluationofhazardsofglazingorglazingsystemsagainstairblastloadings.Thespecifyingauthorityshallprovidetheairblastloadingparameters.1.2Thistestmethodallowsforglazingtobetestedandratedwithorwithoutframingsystems.1.3Thistestmethodisdesignedtotestandrateallglazing,glazingsystems,andglazingretrofitsystemsincluding,butnotlimitedto,thosefabricatedfromglass,plastic,glass-cladplastics,laminatedglass,glass/plasticglazingmaterials,andfilm-backedglass.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Valuesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.ForconversionofquantitiesinvarioussystemsofmeasurementstoSIunits,see.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeSection9forspecifichazardsstatements.
